A thief in a dream indicates illness or a suitor who comes in secret. If he is black, it is an illness in the blood, and if he is red, it is an illness in the bile. Catching the thief indicates knowing the illness and its treatment.

A thief indicates a cunning, deceitful man, an adulterer, or a seeker of knowledge in the wrong way. His entry into the house indicates the entry of illness or a failed marriage proposal.
