The sun in a dream is the greatest king, the caliph, or the father. Whoever sees the sun rising in his house, if he is a merchant, he will profit, and if he is unmarried, he will marry a noble and beautiful woman. The setting of the sun indicates the death or dismissal of whomever it represents. A solar eclipse indicates a calamity befalling the king or the father. Whoever sees that he possesses the sun will attain a great kingdom. The sun rising from the west indicates a great sign and the exposure of hidden matters.

The sun indicates the ruler, a beautiful wife, or a profitable trade. Whoever sees the sun clear and shining, it indicates the righteousness of the king and a pleasant life. If he sees it dark, it indicates the injustice of the king and corrupt conditions. Whoever sees the sun speaking to him will attain high status and a position from the ruler. Whoever sees the sun, moon, and stars gathered for him and obeying him, will attain a great kingdom and people will submit to him.

The sun is interpreted as the caliph, king, or a great leader. Whatever light, darkness, good, or evil is seen in it is attributed to him. Whoever sees the sun fall to the earth, it indicates the death of the king or leader. Whoever sees the sun's rays shining on him alone, he will attain prestige, authority, and health in his body. Whoever sees himself fleeing from the sun is fleeing from his wife or his ruler.
