The scorpion is a gossiping enemy who harms some of his relatives, and no one is safe from him. Its sting is gaining wealth from an enemy, but that wealth will then be lost. Killing a scorpion is victory over the enemy. Whoever sees himself eating a raw scorpion is backbiting a corrupt enemy. A scorpion in one's trousers indicates an enemy from the wife's side.

Whoever sees scorpions in his house, they are enemies from his relatives. Burning a scorpion indicates the death of an enemy. The scorpion's stinger is the tongue of the gossiping man.

The scorpion is interpreted as a weak, irreligious enemy who harms more with his tongue than his hand. Whoever sees that he killed a scorpion will triumph over an enemy and be rid of his evil. Whoever sees a scorpion in his hand, stinging people with it, is backbiting people and causing enmity between them.
