The road in a dream is the Sharia (Islamic law), religion, and profession. A straight, wide road indicates monotheism (Tawhid), the Sunnah, and abundance in sustenance. A narrow, crooked road indicates heresy, misguidance, and a difficult life. Whoever sees himself lost from the road is straying from the truth and falling into confusion.

The road indicates striving to seek sustenance. A blocked road indicates misguidance and difficulty. Whoever sees himself repairing a road is calling people to goodness. Whoever finds himself at a crossroads is falling into confusion in his affairs or heresy in his religion.

The road is interpreted as one's deeds. A straight one is a righteous deed, and a crooked one is a corrupt deed. Whoever sees two roads before him and chooses one, he is choosing between two matters, worldly or religious. An unknown road is a long journey or a matter involving risk.
