The ring indicates what a person owns and has power over, such as a house, an animal, a wife, a child, or authority. Whoever is given a ring or buys one will gain authority or kingship. The stone (fess) of the ring is the prestige and adornment of the authority. Breaking or losing the ring indicates the loss of kingship, divorce of the wife, or death of the child.

The ring indicates a wife, a child, wealth, and security. A man wearing a gold ring is disliked and indicates betrayal or worry. For a woman, it is adornment and joy. A ring of iron is strong authority, and one of lead is weak authority. Whoever finds a ring will acquire wealth from non-Arabs or get married.

The ring is interpreted as kingship, leadership, a wife, or a house. Whoever sees his ring become tight, his world or his wife will become restrictive for him. Whoever sees himself sealing with a ring will gain authority and power. A ring with two stones indicates authority in both outward and inward matters.
