The moon in a dream is the vizier of the greatest king, a great scholar, or a jurist. Whoever sees the moon in his lap will marry a beautiful wife. If a pregnant woman sees it, she will be blessed with a beautiful baby boy. A lunar eclipse indicates a calamity befalling the vizier or scholar, or dismissal from a position. If he sees the moon become the sun, he will attain goodness, honor, and wealth from his mother or his wife. The crescent moon indicates a blessed son or a new position of authority.

The moon indicates the husband, the son, or a boss at work. Whoever sees the moon as a full moon, it indicates the completion of his affair and its perfection. If it is waning, it is a deficiency in the status of whomever it represents. Whoever sees himself hanging onto the moon will receive goodness and benefit from the king. The fall of the moon indicates the death of the scholar, the vizier, or the husband.

The moon is interpreted as a knowledgeable man, a just king, or a beautiful, beardless boy. The meeting of the sun and moon in a dream indicates goodness, blessing, and a blessed marriage. Whoever sees himself speaking to the moon will draw close to a scholar and gain knowledge from him. A dark moon indicates the betrayal of the vizier or the illness of the wife.
