Laughter in a dream indicates sadness and regret in wakefulness if it is loud and boisterous. As for smiling, it indicates joy and good tidings of goodness and a righteous child. Laughing at people indicates belittling them.

Laughter in a dream is worry and grief in wakefulness. Smiling indicates righteousness in religion and the good tidings of a child. Whoever sees the earth laugh, it indicates fertility in that year. The laughter of a dead person indicates their bliss in the Hereafter.
