The frog in a dream is a virtuous, devout man, diligent in obeying God. Many frogs in a town indicate torment from God. Eating frog meat is gaining a small benefit from a relative or neighbor.

The frog indicates a righteous neighbor or a righteous woman. Catching one indicates accompanying nobles and scholars. The croaking of frogs indicates false speech or noise.

The frog is interpreted as a magician or a tempter. Whoever sees himself speaking to a frog will gain authority. Whoever sees many frogs leaving a town, evil and worry have left it.
