Death in a dream indicates returning trusts, recovery for the sick, or release for the captive. It may also indicate travel or marriage, as the deceased needs washing and perfume like a groom. Whoever sees himself die and be carried on men's shoulders will gain honor and authority, but his religion will be corrupted. Whoever sees himself die without the appearance of being dead, his house will be demolished. Whoever sees the Imam (leader) die, the town will fall into ruin. Whoever sees himself die and then come back to life, he will commit a sin and then repent.

Death in a dream indicates remorse for a great sin. Whoever sees himself die and has a funeral and mourning for him will gain control over his worldly affairs. Whoever sees that he will never die, he will die as a martyr. Sudden death indicates wealth for the poor and poverty for the rich, or attaining rest after hardship. The death of a father indicates weakness in one's situation. The death of a mother indicates corruption in the world and loss of virtue.

Whoever sees that he has died will have a long life, and the price of what he owns will decrease. If he sees that he died without illness or apparent cause, it indicates the ruin of his house. Whoever sees a known dead person die again, accompanied by crying, it indicates the death of one of his descendants or family members. Seeing death for an unmarried person indicates marriage, and for a married person, divorce. Death, in general, indicates a transition from one state to another.
