The cat in a dream represents a servant who guards a person's wealth, or perhaps a thief from within the household or outside it. A female cat is a deceitful, hypocritical woman. Whoever sees a cat bite or scratch him will fall ill or suffer long-lasting worry and sadness. A pet cat indicates joy, happiness, and comfort, while a wild cat indicates trouble, fatigue, and worry. Whoever sells a cat will spend his money unwisely.

The cat is interpreted as a servant or a thief. Whoever sees himself fighting a cat will fall seriously ill and then recover. If he kills the cat, he will be cured of his illness. A pet cat is better than a wild one and indicates a trustworthy servant or a righteous woman. A white cat indicates a clean maidservant, and a black one indicates a gossiping maidservant. A cat's bite indicates betrayal by a servant.
