The cage in a dream is prison or distress. A bird in it indicates a son or a slave. Whoever sees himself in a cage will be imprisoned or fall ill.

The cage indicates a man's home or his shop. Getting out of it is relief for the prisoner and healing for the sick. An empty cage indicates an abandoned house or a grave.
