I saw myself in a barren desert. I recited Surah Ad-Duha. A cloud rained pure milk and honey, and beneath me, red roses and sweet basil grew.

My eye, the barren desert is despair or poverty. Surah Ad-Duha is the surah of giving and satisfaction (And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied). The rain of milk, honey, and the flowers is the divine miracle of changing hardship into ease, wealth, and happiness. Interpretations from major scholars of the Sunni tradition: - Ibn Sirin: The desert is poverty, and reciting Surah Ad-Duha indicates the removal of worry. The rain of milk and honey is fertility, great blessing, and pure lawful provision. The blooming of red roses and sweet basil is good praise, a good reputation, and complete satisfaction. - Al-Nabulsi: Reciting Ad-Duha is safety and security. The rain of milk and honey from the cloud is provision without hardship and the sweetness of faith.
