Interpretations from major scholars of the Sunni tradition: - Ibn Sirin: Stars are scholars or nobles, and their falling into the hand is answered supplication and the fulfillment of a wish. Their transformation into diamonds symbolizes precious lawful wealth and pure knowledge preserved in the heart. - Al-Nabulsi: Stars falling into the hand is safety from fear, the attainment of a high rank, or being blessed with a child who will have a great status.
