I saw that I was fasting on Monday voluntarily to draw closer to Allah. At the Maghrib Adhan, I broke my fast with fresh Rutab (ripe dates) and a cup of pure milk, and I felt an amazing quenching of thirst and deep inner peace.
التفسير:
Fasting on Monday is a precise and recommended adherence to the honorable Prophetic Sunnah in loving acts of obedience. Breaking the fast with Rutab and pure milk symbolizes sound human nature (Fitrah) and pure lawful provision free from suspicions. The feeling of being quenched and inner peace brings glad tidings of the acceptance of the good deed, healing the chest from worries and whispers (Waswas), and that Allah will enrich the dreamer with His lawful provision over the unlawful, and bless his health and children.
