I saw that I was fasting on the Day of Ashura, and at the Maghrib Adhan, I broke my fast with water and a date, and I felt as if all my sins had fallen away from me.
التفسير:
Fasting on Ashura in the Sunnah expiates the sins of the past year, and it is associated with the salvation of the Prophet of Allah, Moses (peace be upon him). Fasting it in a dream and breaking the fast is a great glad tiding of the forgiveness of sins and sincere repentance. It also brings glad tidings of the dreamer's victory over whoever wronged him or opposed him in support of the truth, and overcoming major obstacles. The feeling of sins falling away is a divine tranquility cast into the dreamer's heart so he can live a new, pure, and clear life.
