I dreamed that I woke up in the last third of the night, performed ablution (Wudu) with pure, cold water, then stood to pray in my dark room. Threads of light descended from the ceiling, surrounding me while I was prostrating.
التفسير:
Night prayer (Qiyam al-Layl) in a dream is the honor and glory of the believer. Ablution with cold water indicates patience and striving in acts of worship despite hardship, and it is a washing away of sins and worries. The threads of light surrounding the dreamer during prostration symbolize the descent of angels, tranquility, and mercy, per the Prophet's saying (The closest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating).
