I saw the Prophet Ibrahim Al-Khalil, peace be upon him, smiling at me and stroking my head, and I felt the coolness of certainty and tranquility in my heart.
التفسير:
Seeing the father of the prophets, Ibrahim, peace be upon him, is one of the greatest visions. It heralds the dreamer that they will go through a severe trial but will survive it by God's command (just as the 'Khalil' survived the fire), and God will compensate them afterward with coolness and peace. Stroking the head is a transfer of blessing, strength of certainty in the heart, and steadfastness in pure monotheism. It is also a major glad tiding of visiting the Holy Kaaba to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, and reaching a high status of piety and the satisfaction of the Most Merciful.
